The world No. 1 Swiss tennis player Roger Federer was born on 8th August 1981 in Binningen, near Basel, Switzerland. Federer very well speaks three languages German, French and English and his most of the press conferences are conducted in these languages.He liked to play football in childhood before choosing tennis as a career.
Roger Federer supports a number of charities and increasing his contribution he established the Roger Federer Foundation in 2003. The Roger Federer Foundation promotes sports as well as help disadvantaged people. UNICEF appointed him as a Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF in 2006. Roger Federer and former women tennis player Miroslava “Mirka” Vavrinec get married on 11 April 2009 in Basel. Miroslava “Mirka” Vavrinec is Roger’s public relation manager.
